Listen to what they say and follow their advice to ensure you get the best outcome with minimal time and effort on your part. It's not often that people exceed my high expectations, but Mike Weller and Shannon Stella significantly exceeded my expectations in every possible way. After 23+ years in Brea, my 87- and 81-year-old parents decided to move into a continuing care retirement community. They asked me to handle the sale and Mike came highly recommended by their counselor at Morningside of Fullerton. Hiring the Weller Group truly turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made to date. It takes a village to prepare a home for sale and our team included Mike, Shannon, Adrianna, two handymen, two plumbers, an air inspection company, a packing/unpacking company, movers, house/carpet cleaners, a stager, and a photographer/videographer. Luckily Mike and Shannon have a strong network of service providers who do excellent work at a reasonable price. Their talented stager magically transformed the home and for a quick moment, my parents wondered whether they should stay in their house because it presented so beautifully in the listing photos/video, lol. Mike and Shannon delivered tremendous value and more than earned their reasonable commission. Don't let their quiet demeanors fool you because they are savvy, shrewd and are the hardest working realtors you'll meet, especially Shannon. The complimentary value-added services they offer through their Easy Senior Transition Program is a clear differentiator among their peers. Be sure to ask about the many services they include with their listing fee at no additional cost because it will blow you away! Their concierge services are invaluable to all sellers, but especially to those like me who aren't local and handling a sale remotely. We had 200+ people visit during the first open weekend. My parents quickly received 6 strong offers over ask and ultimately accepted a strong cash offer over ask. The sale closed in exactly 5 weeks and would have closed sooner except the home inspection identified a minor HVAC issue that needed to be addressed before closing. It should be noted that two of the eight offers we received were presented by Shannon and Adrianna on Mike's team. While we ultimately chose an offer presented by another firm, I was very impressed with the way Shannon and Adrianna presented their written offers. If you're a buyer looking to purchase a home, I can tell you from personal experience that offers written by the Weller Group will absolutely help your offer stand out and give your offers a competitive advantage over others. Given the recent changes to the real estate commission rules it's critical to hire the "right" realtor to represent you on either side of the transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to pay their commission and strongly recommend working with Mike Weller and Shannon Stella. Their value proposition is tremendous, and I guarantee you'll be glad you hired them to sell/buy a home.
